Alright, I asked the question, and now people have kind of started to give me feedback. This is generally in regards to keeping the comic lively and interesting.

For Marketing:

A T-Shirt about the Fruit Colored Mule. Apparently everyone get's a kick out of that.
Creature Plushies (I'm not sure how I'll get this made, but the idea is certainly pretty cool!)
Calender
Posters

For General Webspace Goodness

Wallpapers
Adopt a 'Creature' (or a splash, ockie, or some other comic character)
Reader Involvement in Comics
-Caption the Comic
-Ask a Question

Ideas for Reader Incentives

Free Subscriber Membership
Guest Appearance in Comic
Custom Forum Title for Month
Custom Artwork by Me

I guess some of the reader incentive things could also be listed, like the first person to reach 1000 posts in the forum (and do a screen capture to prove they are the poster) among other things. I just wanted to make a fresh list of these kinds of things. They won't be ready to do now, but I'm thinking more this fall.

If you have other ideas, please let me hear them!

Regarding the Creature plushies, JB over at Cartharsiscomic.com is trying to get some Rremly plushies done. She hasn't mentioned WHO is working on them, but you can probably hop over and email her and ask. If the plushes are done by the same person, it sounds like they could be as high as $50 per plushie. But they'll be hand made and good quality.

I believe that "Caption the comic" is where Ris draws a strip and doesn't add any text: just the bubbles. Then she has a contest where everyone gets to make up the text for the bubbles and someone (Prolly Ris) chooses a winner!

At least, I think that's what it is.

Creature plushies wouldn't be a bad idea... some of all the main characters.

Caption comics and reader involvement is always great... in fact, way back when you did have a poll that transitioned into 4th wall-breaking input from Splash, and that was good fun!

Your storyline and concept for the Vortron allows a LOT of options in regards to special appearances and cameos... and, if I heard correctly, there were rumors that Creature and/or Splash might show up in White Pony's comic.

So, uh, any update on any of this? Or is it currently "on hiatus" until more time, resources, and readers become available?
